I am a life long resident of Harrisburg and Southern Illinois.  I graduated from Harrisburg High School in 2001 as Valedictorian.  I participated on the district, state and national levels in high school speech competitions.  I attended Union University and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  I graduated from Southern Illinois School of Law and graduated Cum Laude.

I started my practice as a Public Defender here in Saline County.  My private practice is focused primarily on family law (including handling divorce, custody, visitation, and child support issues), criminal charges, and probate.  I also handle small claims cases and selected commercial collections.

Upon completing the bar exam, I joined Michael V. Oshel, P.C.  We have since converted our practice to Oshel Law, P.C. in 2008.  I am very proud of the reputation my father has earned our firm in the legal community and in the community as a whole.  I also believe in limiting my practice to those cases to which I can devote sufficient attention.  Dad and I believe that the best advertisement for your practice is a happy and satisfied client.
